DESCRIPTION:Open to Traditional and Homeschool Students.\nDear Sierra County Families, Business and Community,\nThe Sierra County Arts Council, in partnership with The Center Gallery Fine Art, is pleased to announce the 4th Annual Sierra County Student Art Show! The Show will be held in the Ralph Edwards Auditorium at the Civic Center on April 18th and 19th, 2025.\nThanks to our sponsors, we were able to award $4,600 in scholarships during the 2024 Show, and just like last year, the 4th Annual Show winners and other notable student artists will be invited to exhibit their work at The Center Gallery Fine Art during May 2025. The Show’s participants also have the opportunity to sell their work (and most do!).\nWe will build on the success of 57 student artists in grades 6-12 for the 2024 Show. Student Participation is 100% free! The Sierra County Arts Council and The Center Gallery Fine Art will not collect any commissions or fees from the Show or the May exhibits at The Center Gallery.\nAll student applicants receive a Tiger Art t-shirt, even if they’re not selected for the Show due to space limitations.\nWe request your support for the 2025 Show expenses, scholarships, and prizes. We hope to increase the funds raised to invite more students to the Show. A dedicated “The Sierra County Student Art Show Fund” (TSCSASF) account has been established at Citizens Bank, and donations are tax-\ndeductible.\nChecks can be written to the Sierra County Student Art Show Fund (SCSASF), and cash donations can be delivered to the Sierra County Arts Council or The Center Gallery Fine Art.
